This is not a hater blog but an analysis. I did not choose this site's name.

One thing worth exploring is the list of people and companies Microsoft uses to approach FOSS projects and bend them to Microsoft's benefit. Developers need to be warned and become aware of those with hidden motives.

"I know Microsoft, and I know my industry. I thoroughly comprehend how Microsoft’s products, agendas, and conduct have shaped and defined computing as we know it today. I have friends and colleagues who work at Microsoft, and I have others who work with its current partners, its former partners, and its direct competitors... Microsoft’s conduct as a corporation and a manufacturer of computing products, is predicated upon an internal policy of deception, which includes deceiving customers, deceiving competitors, deceiving partners, deceiving its own vendors, and at some level, deceiving its own staff."

- Replace Java games with Silvernightmare games.

Yes, just a minute ago I mentioned this in a comment. Yahoo has already been quite Linux-hostile... even in terms of supporting non-IE browsers.

At this stage, given the smears Microsoft has used (almost successfully) in attempt to derail DoubleClick-Google, I truly hope that the EC is watching. It would harm customer tremendously. the EC is already concerned about Silverlight. It's an issue more severe than the corruptions associated with OOXML and the BRM in Geneva because Silverlight penetrates from the Web, not via SharePoint/E-mails from colleagues.

Yahoo getting bought by MS would be a tragedy! You can only imagine the sort of things MS will do.

- Replace Java games with Silvernightmare games.
- Stop Linux distribution or replace it with ballnux.
- Merge yahoo mail and hotmail. :/ , geocities with that MS stuff.
- etc, etc ,etc

I really don't want my yahoo games gone...
