Would it help if an index and a summary/except was prepended to the front page (/ as in root)? To give an example:

headline 1
summary 1
headline 2
summary 2
headline 3
summary 3

headline 1
story 1
headline 2
story 2

…

It wouldn’t take much coding to achieve this.

I agree the pace is quite fast. I think it’d help if you had the frontpage only include a summary of the news/articles so that each visitor can select the ones that interest her most without losing track of things.

NO, continue onward. Someone just asked me what “this” was… “this” showing up on their PC was IE asking for authorization to enable Silverlight. When asked what Silverlight was, I just told them it was created by MS to break the web, so only that website was only viewable with their products. Making everyone use Windows only.
