Novell Recommends the IE Browser

Posted in Microsoft, Novell, Windows at 9:40 am by Dr. Roy Schestowitz

Sseveral days ago it was Windows Vista. Now it’s Internet Explorer. Novell should be ashamed.

Thought not suprising a shamefull behaviour from Judas Novell. What do you expect from them? It’s no more than a Microsoft franchise! Regards and keep up the good work! The whole worls should be aware of that they’re no more a GNU/Linux company.

“Novell has a lot of windows costumers, so it is obvious they would prefer to push IE on them rather than care about the community that gives them free developers, all that freedom stuff should be forgotten in the name of windows costumers.”

    Disgusting.

It really is over for Novell.

Do you want to see what Novell will be like in a few years?

Look at what happened to Corel. The information is here on Boycott Novell’s website, read and learn. This is the future of Novell and SUSE Linux, just with different twists and turns.

It’s like the deal with a devil stories in fiction, you get a little but pay a big price, and just like with Corel turning into a pro-Microsoft masturbatory website and corporation and ditching its Linux software and abandoning mouthed comments about porting programs to Linux, so too will Novell’s grape vine yield sour fruit.

Give it time, this is just the beginning.

You are being a little bit unfair and too fast on response, without thinking correctly.

The ones who recommended IE are not from Novell. Are just a store, who also sells Novell’s products. They don’t care what you use, they just want to sell. If a client says something doesn’t work, what do you think someone on the commercial department will say? The basics, use IE.

Therefore, I don’t recommend you to listen to this boycottnovell website, which seems paid by someone on the other side, for people to leave linux systems. SuSE are among the best systems, it’s not some blog website that’s going to change that.

We haven’t seen one single bad thing from the MS/Novell business, so why is everyone still mad about it, or trying to boycott Novell?

    Luis,

    The url is:
    http://shop.novell.com/uk/cs

Which looks a lot like a Novell shop to me. Novell are responsible for their shop, no matter to whom they might have outsourced the operation of it.

As I’m running a linux system, perhaps you could enlighten me as to how I’m supposed to re-enter my order using IE?

    Ta,

    Mark

    Luis,

The site is paid by nobody. Think twice before throwing accusations please. The ads cover the hosting bill.

Luis Nabais, that is a weak response that doesn’t help your agenda if that is to discredit boycottnovell.

If you work for Novell, you might want to consider if you prefer to work in a comfortable Linux friendly environment or at Novell. A change of job, if you like Linux, might make your work environment more comfortable. Isn’t it better to get paid to do something honest where you will have a comfortable future? Windows is not the future.

You guys suck a big time.

Look at that post again. There’s “Digital River for shopNovell” at the bottom. Its by Digital River, a web design agency who made Novell shopping site. A lot of shopping sites and online banking sites still suggest using IE. Its nothing to do with Novell.

And you can run IE on Linux. Follow this tutorial: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/ies4linux

P.S. I don’t work for either Novell or Digital River.
