Among the prominent players, you have Nvidia and Seagate. Broadcom joined some Linux consortia and VIA is only trying but not yet producing much fruit. A lot of hardware manufacturers are better at publicity stunts than they are at actually delivering the goods. Adobe is an example on the software side. It depends on scale.
