Strange article that one.  Seems to be pushing the line that &#039;free is worthless&#039;, and somehow &#039;paying for software will become cool again&#039;, and intentionally trying to blur the distinction between that communist &#039;free&#039; and corporate-friendly &#039;open&#039; source stuff.

Not just strange, outright bizarre.  I think getting value for money from software will be one of the easiest ways companies will be able to save money in the global recession we are in.

So much for an &#039;open source thought-leader&#039;.</description>
