The massive campaign donations from Microsoft (and the RIAA/MPAA, NAB, medical-financial sector) were never a secret. Now, everyone is shocked at the porkbarrel medical records programme. This is very similar to what happened in Canada, with the two billion dollar sinkhole of the Federal Gun Registry. The Liberal government recieved huge donations from the likes of Honeywell...guess who got the contract to set up and run this stupid, insecure (hacked by criminals, who used it as a 'shopping list') database? This healthcare database will be a thousand times worse. I’m stunned at the stupidity of all the techies who went ga-ga for Obama.
