At this point, I&#039;m not sure why OEMs care about Windows.  Vista cost them all sorts of money and it was a key factor in the demise of retailers such as CompUSA, Circuit City and &lt;a href=&quot;http://slashdot.org/~twitter/journal/192886&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;DSG&lt;/a&gt;.  Their best hope for survival in the recession is to heavily advertise low cost computing and free software.</description>
