Gemini version available ♊︎How to Suggest Stories for Techrights
Summary: Ways for people to get involved and give tips or articles
SOME readers have claimed that it’s not simple to propose topics for Techrights to cover. This claim is rather baffling because we accept suggestions made by E-mail, IRC, Wiki, Identi.ca, and blog comments, to name just some of the main routes. If there is another avenue or means of communicating of relevance, please feel free to bring that up. The goal is to be responsive. █

You may accept stories from several sources, but there is no obvious way to submit a story. Imagine that you are visiting the site for the first time, where is the link to submit a story? I have been to the site many time, but I had no idea you accepted stories by email. Where, on this site, do I find the email address? This site has a lot of great information, but, IMO, the layout leaves some things to be desired.

Changing layout at this stage would be tricky.

I don’t know if you follow very strange story on DST investment in YC combinator companies last weekend:
http://techcrunch.com/2011/01/28/yuri-milner-sv-angel-offer-every-new-y-combinator-startup-150k/
http://techcrunch.com/2011/01/29/is-yuri-milner-is-a-threat-to-silicon-valley/
http://techcrunch.com/2011/01/29/90-of-y-combinator-startups-have-already-accepted-the-150k-start-fund-offer/
What is not discussed is DST background and the sources of its capital
as revealed here: http://bit.ly/ePV428
Apparently DST has 10% stake in facebook.
Not sure if there is any Microsoft connection.
