TODAY'S EPO has a kangaroo court which is lobbied by António Campinos (e.g. regarding European software patents). Recently, the staff representatives said that the internal appeals process is no better. How long before Campinos starts kidnapping judges like Benoît Battistelli did? And then proceeds to defame them in corruptible media? Battistelli did that after 4 years at the Office.

So earlier today this (warning: epo.org link) and that (warning: epo.org link) waffle got published in the EPO's so-called 'news' section. They obviously want people -- including staff -- to look away from a major scandal, still in the making, still an ongoing problem for virtually all referrals. The EPO isn't governed by various branches; there's no oversight, there are no checks and balances, no rule of law. As for the "news" section, it should be renamed "propaganda". ⬆
