Bonum Certa Men Certa

The Collapse of the Media Has Left a Vacuum for Fake News From Team UPC (Scheming to Bury Laws and Constitutions)

Summary: With unconditional help from coup-installed EPO presidents Benoît Battistelli and António Campinos Team UPC is pushing to replace legitimate, common courts with a bunch of kangaroo courts like the EPO's internal tribunals; due to the demise if not death of journalism there's nobody left to challenge them, except maybe in some blog comments (most posts do not allow comments though), so we can expect the EPO to lower the patent bar -- in effect allowing European software patents provided buzzwords like "Hey Hi" get added -- in hopes of suitably rigged 'courts' rubber-stamping the practice some time in the future

THE sub-continent Europe (not just EU) is under attack. The attackers aren't just foreigners (external or outsiders to Europe) but domestic opportunists who neither create anything nor value those who do. They make money from lawsuits.

Techrights searchA decade ago or even 5 years ago it was still possible to find some punditry or journalism regarding the UPC; but newsrooms have been systematically defunded, so nowadays it's hard to find anyone who properly assesses what's at stake. Maybe it's hardly shocking that, as shown to the right, many people search for UPC information with the word "techrights" added.

The above video is a sort of news walkthrough. It's intended to show just how horrible the Web has become. It's nearly impossible to get any real information; if someone does write honstly about the topic, it'll get drowned out by noise, deception, fake news, and even straw man arguments (bogus arguments against the UPC in place of the real ones).

There will be more videos about patents (currently on their way); we're still assessing what kind of format suits this best. Effective rebuttal does not send traffic to falsehoods, just sufficientvisibility for rebuttal's sake.

"When asked by Ars, the EPO's spokesperson mentioned the imminent arrival of the unitary patent system as an important reason for revising the EPO's internal rules..."
