Summary: Starting today in Techrights we have a series entitled "The Corporate 'Cancel Culture' Industry" (introduction here); it'll be done mostly in the form of videos as they seem more appropriate for the subject at hand and are a lot harder to take out of context; the series will be focused on but not limited to the Linux Foundation

THERE is a malicious campaign of misinformation which incites people against Free software leaders and luminaries (examples of a radicalised person aren't hard to find; we covered one just hours ago). We're meant to think that the main problem with the Linux Foundation is money (as if money itself is inherently evil) and that people who don't wear a suit and a tie are disgusting, unbathed, and maybe wear a bathrobe all day long (around their own house).

"My criticisms of the Linux Foundation are explained and have been explained rather clearly since 2019."This series starts with an anecdote, an interview request that I recently received, and later it will branch out to a broader discussion about the problem domain. We need to be prepared to protect our peers from false accusations, innuendo, and effective smears that typically boil down to "isms" (where the facts don't fit the alleged stigma).

My criticisms of the Linux Foundation are explained and have been explained rather clearly since 2019. They are labeled suitably and some are suitably categorised under clusters. I reject the idea that the problem is dogmatic; what we have there is a malicious campaign of trolling against communities, perpetrated by 'suits' (many from Microsoft). The earlier parts of this series will be done mostly as videos as it is easier to secure anonymity that way. It's also harder to distort or take things out of context (than text).
