Last Tuesday we had a massive outage in the whole area. We lost power for many hours and afterwards my home server was dead. Data loss, too. Until this week I am still restoring services and data! It is tiring.

This month, in general, has been very busy as Rianne works on her naturalisation tests.

Next month Rianne will send the application, so it'll still be very busy for us. Until October.

On top of this, I'm migrating two very large sites of mine and ours, one of which is 18+ years old (Tux Machines). It's a long process. It can take many months.

So I've been very tight with time and not in the mood for arguing about something regarding next year. I had more urgent matters to deal with, such as data loss.

I hope others, who do not run their own servers and sites, can somehow related or at least understand. I don't have "colleagues"; I work 100+ hours a week and all responsibility is with me, 24/7.
