[08:38] schestowitz[TR2][08:38] schestowitz[TR2]Every once in a while people ask me about my email routine, so I thought Id write about it here.
[08:38] schestowitz[TR2]Everything I do starts with the philosophy that work and project email is a task queue. Therefore an email is a to-do list item someone else has assigned to me.
[08:38] schestowitz[TR2]Ugh, how horrible! Better get that stuff done or rejected as soon as possible so I can move on to the stuff I want to do.
[08:38] schestowitz[TR2]This means my target is inbox zero; achieving it means I got all my tasks done. Like everyone, I dont always achieve it, but zero is the goal. How do I work towards it?

[13:39] schestowitz[TR2][13:39] schestowitz[TR2]This patch affects not only Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9 and its derivatives but also Fedora versions 36 and 37 and some updates to version 35.
[13:39] schestowitz[TR2]Although Fedora has transitioned to newer versions of OpenSSH in its latest releases (38 and above), which do not contain the problematic cleanup_exit() call, the legacy versions remain vulnerable.

[13:46] schestowitz[TR2][13:46] schestowitz[TR2]Often, a Linux computer is used by different users, so it is possible that these users access a common group of files. This opens the door to problems like accidental deletion or editing of important files, which you, as an administrator, definitely don't want.
[13:46] schestowitz[TR2]In this tutorial, we will explain this tool with some easy-to-understand examples. But before we do that, we should mention that all the examples here have been tested on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and Debian 12.
