With that said, IBM has to find partners who will help it grow revenue. Mainframe growth stalled 15 years ago, and most likely will remain stalled. That means that IBM has leveraged SW and consulting to su-k up the stalled revenue. Consulting has pursued a different approach. Offshore everything to a lower cost delivery model. Once that is achieved, replace the delivery model with AI automation. Dont believe me?
