    Half a year after its previous 1.3 release, ClamAV, a mainstay in the open-source antivirus world developed by Cisco Talos, a part of Cisco Systems Inc., has released its latest version, 1.4, along with an updated bytecode compiler.

    After more than two decades since its debut as Hiweed Linux, Deepin is now back with a new release. Launched yesterday, Deepin 23 sports multiple changes, the most important being the introduction of atomic updates and improved hardware support, with install media and packages now available for ARM and RISC-V processors.
