[00:48] schestowitz[TR2] @d5 the site does have guidelines - you can find the TL;DR version of the content rules in the footer. [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] Below is a summary of the types of posts that mods typically delete (not my own, it is taken from another thread): [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] foul language and derogatory speech (towards named individuals or groups) [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] names, personal info (PII) of employees or mgrs (c-level's ok as they are public figures) [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] threats [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] trolling [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] spamming (or tons of posts with the similar text) [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] impersonating someone in a misleading or deceptive manner [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] off-topic posts like political or religious rants [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] direct advertising [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] illegal and proprietary content [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] 5 hours ago by Anonymous [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] | 2 reactions (+1/-1) | Reply [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] Post ID: @dd+1ka7m9489 [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] +3 [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] I came to the US on an H1B years ago. Even when on an H1B I held the opinion that the majority of jobs done by h1b employees could be done by Americans if given training. I have hired good American employees and trained them to do things they didn't have experience with. [00:48] schestowitz[TR2] H1B visas should be fixed term with no extensions with the goal being to fill temporary gaps and then train Americans to do jobs before leaving. [00:49] schestowitz[TR2] like the IBM googlebombing article... specifically the mention of the "loon" processors. :)) [00:49] schestowitz[TR2] "UEFI 'Restricted Boot' Will Usher in Rootkits Into Linux"
