schestowitz__                <p> Bad contrast, misaligned elements, extra mouse clicks, inefficient workflow. A far, far, far cry from what VLC is - a Swiss Army knife of media that does things extremely well. VLC is probably the most installed software in my arsenal. While I do install this or that application on this or that computer, VLC is the one program that gets installed everywhere, every time. </p>Feb 20 07:28
schestowitz__                <p> Not just that, I really enjoyed my journey with VLC, discovering its many powers and uses. Over the years, I've written dozens of articles on VLC, showing you how to accomplish tons of useful, practical and fairly advanced tasks - like embedding subtitles into videos, for instance. If this is VLC's future, I'm not sure if there are going to be any more VLC articles from me. In a nutshell, it comes down to this.Feb 20 07:28

schestowitz__> Some examples of past leaders connected to EFF are Wendy Seltzer, Robin Gross, Shari Steele, Jennifer Grannick, and humbly yours truly. We worked on the defense in the DeCSS case, Chilling Effects, TOR, Defending Gaim, IP Justice and other projects came from our efforts and work.Feb 20 22:21

schestowitz__> Am I wrong?Feb 20 22:21
schestowitz__My concern is different so the common denominator, to me at least, is lack of prior contribution. Maybe I'm wrong. Ehmke did some voodoo crazy shit in a past career, not sure about code... as for Karen... she gave a talk about her heart condition but AFAIK no coding. I keep saying, how is one to comment on geek stuff without any experience as a geek (except acting like one on stage)? I might be wrong as I did not study full bios.Feb 20 22:21
schestowitz__I don't like to be spoken /for/, esp. by people who don't understand me and "my community"... or the likes of me who stay up at night to code, to do sysadmin, to write articles...Feb 20 22:21
