Perhaps the only saving grace is that they are operating in such a ham-fisted manner, it is likely to call for earth-shattering disruptions to the BUs that will get SVP attention. [20:05] schestowitz[TR2] I'd expect a show-down in 2025. Things can't continue this way. The finops part is Apptio One, then theres TargetProcess, then Cloudability. They all work decently well, but do need a lot of skill to implement (good for services revenue) and for finops the user company really needs to understand their own financial processes and project management structure. Thats the hard part, transparency and delegation of budgets not really being and IBM strength to put it m [20:05] schestowitz[TR2] ildly. I wouldnt disagree that IBM over paid for it though. The relative now works for another organization; with a less-than-promising future. IBM started to move away from long term careers many years ago. It is still a very profitable company, but it must compete with market pressures thrust upon the firm and it must proactively capitalize on changing technologies to maintain its position in the global econo [20:07] schestowitz[TR2] my.
