[13:42] schestowitz[TR2][13:42] schestowitz[TR2]The update modernizes how the browser stores files on Linux systems and aligns its behavior with that of most desktop applications, which have been doing so for years. Heres what Im talking about.
[13:42] schestowitz[TR2]Until now, Firefox placed nearly all of its user filessettings, profiles, data, and cacheinside a single folder called ~/.mozilla in the users home directory. This approach worked, but it also contributed to the familiar clutter many Linux users see when applications each create their own hidden folders.

[13:42] schestowitz[TR2][13:42] schestowitz[TR2]The e-book viewer adds a minor enhancement: hovering over a highlight now displays the date it was created. The Comments editor receives two updates focused on text handling. Case-change operations now preserve as much existing formatting as possible, improving accuracy when editing styled text.
