They make you pay for the full month, even if the final day is before the 2nd paycheck. Good news is that you can ignore this. I can't speak to other IBM debts, but I went through this specific situation myself and the person I called about it literally said that I could just do

[20:42]	schestowitz[TR2]	In general, it definitely seems like IBM has a very tight process in place to claw back every possible dollar they can. A friend of mine who left was told he was overpaid in the thousands. He ended up negotiating with them and knocking it down to about 40% of what IBM asked for.
