[00:48] DaemonFC Back then, the cops took Ford Mustangs that were about ten years old and turned them into unmarked cop cars. [00:48] DaemonFC But inside they were all refurbished and suped up. [00:48] DaemonFC So you'd be lit up by a 1994 Ford Mustang in the mid-2000s. [00:48] DaemonFC It looked like something a college student might drive. That's why. [00:50] DaemonFC MinceR: So there was this one time when I was like 18 or so... [00:50] DaemonFC I was driving down the freeway and someone pissed me off, so I flipped him off and he got up beside me and started yelling at me and he was a cop. [00:51] DaemonFC So real fast, I hit the brakes and took an off ramp and disappeared real fast into a shopping center and parked and killed some time at the mall in case he felt like coming back and looking for me. [00:51] MinceR :) [00:52] DaemonFC Then there was this other time I was speeding down a city street going about 50 in a 30. [00:52] DaemonFC A cop hits his lights and goes to make a U-Turn but got stuck behind some traffic, so I made a right turn, then a left, and zigged and zagged for a while and decided to park at a McDonalds and go inside and eat some fries for a while. [00:53] DaemonFC Then there was another time I got pulled over for speeding. [00:53] DaemonFC Cop hit his lights, made a U-Turn, I thought I'd turn into someone's driveway while he couldn't see me. I parked there for a while. [00:54] DaemonFC About an hour later I came back down the driveway. There was the cop. [00:54] DaemonFC He asked if I lived there and I was like, "Uh......No?" [00:54] DaemonFC :) [00:54] DaemonFC And he said, "Well, what did you turn in there for? [00:54] DaemonFC I stared for a second, not sure I should really say anything. [00:55] DaemonFC He said, "Did you really think I was so stupid I would never find you again?" [00:55] DaemonFC I said, "I'm sure you're not, so don't take this the wrong way, but I was kind of hoping so." and I sighed. [00:55] DaemonFC And he laughed. [00:55] DaemonFC He gave me a warning ticket. [00:55] DaemonFC He said, "Just next time, pull over." [00:56] DaemonFC Then in 2004 I think, I had a radar detector, because I was tired of getting surprised by the police. [00:57] DaemonFC I was coming down the highway, about 75 in a 50, I think. [00:57] DaemonFC And all of a sudden, right as I went past the cop, the thing started blaring just a second or two before his lights came on. He hit me with LIDAR, not radar.. [00:58] DaemonFC Before I got pulled over (it was night), I shouted "SHIT SHIT!!!" and yanked the stupid radar detector off my windshield and threw it under the seat, and then pulled over. [00:58] DaemonFC He gave me a verbal warning. ● Jan 05 [01:00] DaemonFC Then on my way to work in 2005, I was going up the highway, about 75 in a 50. State trooper chases me down. Talks to me for a few minutes. He asked why I was so jittery. I said, "I'm late for work. I overslept my alarm and I'm trying to get there before I get pointed. I know this is going to be really expensive and I work at Walmart so there went the check this week. Just do what you're gonna do I guess." [01:00] DaemonFC And he said, "I'm going to let you off with a warning. Just slow it down." [01:01] DaemonFC MinceR: It went on and on like these. [01:01] DaemonFC All these times I avoided the cop or got pulled over and warned. [01:01] DaemonFC And then finally in 2021, they issued me a citation for something I actually did not do. [01:01] DaemonFC "Illegal turn. Disregard traffic signal." [01:01] DaemonFC But I beat the ticket. [01:01] DaemonFC So my driving record is still clean. [01:02] DaemonFC My mom says "That damned lead foot of yours." [01:03] DaemonFC I said, "I still don't have any speeding tickets. You've had at least 6 or 7 that I know of." [01:05] DaemonFC MinceR: So there's been a bunch of times where they could have had me get out of the car, arrest me, and tow the car. [01:05] DaemonFC And they gave me a verbal warning. [01:05] DaemonFC It all depends on which cop you get. [01:06] DaemonFC Traffic stops are one of the few things they have some discretion over. [01:06] DaemonFC If you break any other law except a moving violation, and they say "Just talk to us and maybe we can get this whole thing sorted out." they're lying. [01:07] DaemonFC But in a traffic stop, sometimes you can talk to them. [01:07] DaemonFC If they're feeling sympathetic there may not be a ticket. [01:08] DaemonFC MinceR: Then there's the time I parked for 18 months in a 15 minute spot. [01:08] DaemonFC :D [01:08] DaemonFC And got a five dollar ticket when they caught me. [01:09] DaemonFC I got down there and said "Five dollars!? What the hell kind of a parking ticket is this. I've been parking here for almost two leases now. Oh well. I guess I'd better go get five dollars." [01:09] DaemonFC And it was a 15 minute spot so that people could quickly go into the bank next door. [01:10] DaemonFC I had this really annoying neighbor once. [01:10] DaemonFC Her entire life purpose was to drink Franzia boxed wine as fast as they could produce the stuff then throw it away, making sure that I could never put out one bag of garbage. [01:11] DaemonFC She was constantly drunk and trying to get me to have sex with her, despite knowing that I'm gay. [01:12] DaemonFC Eventually she had a convicted child molester hanging out over there all the time with her. The guy just emanated "creep" so I got on the sex offender registry site and it popped up his photo and says "WANTED FAILURE TO REGISTER - CRIMINAL SEXUAL DEVIATE - PREDATOR" with instructions to call the police if you knew where he was. [01:12] DaemonFC So I did. [01:12] DaemonFC And minutes later they were up there hauling him off to do another two year in prison. [01:19] DaemonFC schestowitz: So the ordinance I asked my alderman for just got passed. [01:20] DaemonFC I asked him to really fine the crap out of them and impound the bus. I suggested a $25,000 fine and impounding the bus. [01:20] DaemonFC The ordinance says "$750 per passenger who is an undocumented immigrant". [01:20] DaemonFC Most of these buses hold 50 people. [01:21] DaemonFC So that's actually a $37,500 fine if the bus is full and they lose the bus. [01:21] DaemonFC And the fine goes to the driver. [01:21] DaemonFC :) [01:22] DaemonFC "The temperatures have now plummeted and will continue to remain cold for several more months, city officials said. [01:22] DaemonFC GOOD [01:22] DaemonFC FUCK EM [01:22] DaemonFC I was hoping the winter would get colder than it is now. [01:22] DaemonFC Let these fuckers figure out if they want to be homeless and illegal in a state that gets to -20. [01:24] DaemonFC MinceR: Maybe we should start fining the Governor of Texas too at $750 per immigrant. [01:24] DaemonFC :)\ [01:26] DaemonFC MinceR: I wonder what happens to people who get charged with reckless firearm discharge after shooting themselves while "cleaning the gun". [01:26] DaemonFC Do you figure the judge figures them shooting themselves into their sentence, like "Maybe a lot of the punishment for this is having shot yourself."? [01:27] MinceR i don't really care [01:27] MinceR though it would be better if people who are so stupid would manage to actually kill themselves by accident [01:31] DaemonFC I've heard some of the more recent theories for why teenagers act so stupidly. [01:31] DaemonFC But it doesn't really explain why the latest batch is worse than ever. [01:45] *u-amarsh04 has quit (Quit: Konversation terminated!) [01:49] DaemonFC MinceR: So after the Comcast data breach they said you could freeze your credit. [01:49] DaemonFC But the criminals stole enough data from the Comcast breach to call a 1-800 number and unfreeze it. [01:50] DaemonFC Between freezes and fraud alerts, you're basically going to slow them way down and yes they could probably pretend to be you and get rid of it all but they stole so many people's information it's easier to just try again with someone who didn't do that. Policing is largely reactionary. They come onto the scene after the fact." [03:00] DaemonFC True. [03:00] DaemonFC And at the end of the day it's all about their safety regardless of how much carnage they have to offload onto anyone else. [03:00] DaemonFC "For decades, many Black Americans have believed that cops presence will either make a situation worseor wont have any impact. And the solution has sometimes been to not call the police at all, even in circumstances where they felt unsafe. " [03:01] DaemonFC Well, the lady with the bullet holes in her car that didn't call them was a bit much. [03:01] DaemonFC They could have given her paperwork that she could show to her car insurance. [03:01] *techrights-ipfs-bot has quit (connection closed) [03:01] DaemonFC But if it's PLPD, then the car insurance doesn't cover damage to her vehicle anyway. [03:01] DaemonFC I don't know what she has. [03:01] DaemonFC In any event, you still want to call them about it. [03:02] DaemonFC It's not good to be driving a car around that has bullets lodged in it. [03:02] DaemonFC Can you imagine getting pulled over and having to explain to the cop why there are bullets in your car and you didn't say anything to anyone? [03:02] DaemonFC Maybe even bullets that match the pattern of a gun that has been used in a murder. [03:02] DaemonFC So much better to just contact the police over this. [03:04] DaemonFC What's worse is... If you try to fix the car yourself by unbolting the panel and tossing it and replacing it with something you bought off the Internet, then you've tampered with a crime scene, so they have you on destruction of evidence and obstructing justice. [03:04] DaemonFC And you wouldn't have been in trouble had you called them and said "Hey man, someone shot my car!!!" [03:06] DaemonFC "Floyds fatal arrest last May seems to have hardened that perception. Even the teenage corner store clerk expressed regret over having taken the counterfeit $20 bill from Floyd, which later caused another employee to call the police. "If I would have just not taken the bill, this could have been avoided, the clerk, Christopher Martin, said on the witness stand during Chauvins murder trial. An owner of the store, Cup Foods, decided after cops [03:06] DaemonFC killed Floyd that from then on he and his employees would only call the cops to report violence, according to the New York Times. " [03:06] DaemonFC Advising people to avoid calling the police when they have knowledge of a crime is advising people to commit a crime. [03:06] DaemonFC Taking action to conceal a crime is itself a crime. [03:07] DaemonFC "Thats the same mindset Leah Knox, a 36-year-old sales operation analyst from Greensboro, North Carolina, took when someone pulling out of a gas station hit her car in October. [03:07] DaemonFC The driver appeared to be a Latino teenager, who was also very stressed and scared. Sensing his fear, she didnt want to put any more pressure on him by calling the cops. So Knox told him that if he could exchange his insurance information with her and admit fault, they both could move on without getting the police involved. He cooperated completely, and his insurance came through and paid for the repairs." [03:07] DaemonFC Wow, a Latino teenager hits your car and his insurance is real and pays you. [03:08] DaemonFC And she got out over a minor scratch and started losing her shit at me. [03:09] DaemonFC I called the police because I didn't want her to go down there and start saying a load of shit. [03:09] DaemonFC And when the police arrived she says, "THAT BETTER BE REAL INSURANCE YOU HAVE!" [03:10] DaemonFC And I said, calmly, "Ma'am, I'm uncertain how you could have avoided hearing about GEICO when they're the second largest insurance company in the nation and have ads with a gecko on everything. However, if you would like to call this 1-800 number I would be happy to talk to one of their agents with you and give them this crash report number." [03:11] DaemonFC The cop was over there laughing at how unreasonable this woman was over something so minor and he had to ask her to calm down several times and point at me and say "He's being reasonable. [03:13] DaemonFC Again, I called the cops when those two guys in the Honda ran into me. They wanted to get out of there. I suggested waiting for a crash report. [03:14] DaemonFC Oh, the cops get out they investigate everyone. [03:14] DaemonFC "Do you have any weapons." "Heh, yeah." [03:14] DaemonFC "Do you have a CCW? You betcha." [03:15] DaemonFC "How many States are you licensed to carry that thing in?" It would be faster to list the ones where I'm not. [03:16] DaemonFC Almost every State has reciprocity if your home State has laws equal to or stricter than. [03:16] DaemonFC So like, you get to my home State and you can open carry if you want to. [03:17] DaemonFC It's better to conceal though, even in open carry States. [03:17] DaemonFC Every once in a while you can still run into some pussy that threatens to trespass you if you don't leave. [03:17] DaemonFC By the time the cops get their fat butts down there, half an hour later, you know. [03:18] DaemonFC I ran into that problem before that was a Constitutional Carry State. [03:19] DaemonFC In a public library. Now, he couldn't say you need to leave. So about all he could do was come up and annoy you and demand to see your permit, which anyone without a felony could get down at the Sheriff's office for $150 as a lifetime permit. [03:20] DaemonFC Now, another mistake people make with cops.... [03:20] DaemonFC Is they tell the cop what kind of a person they are. With bumper stickers. [03:20] DaemonFC You put weed or NRA shit, or a Bernie Sanders sticker on your car, and the cop doesn't like it, he can start fucking with you and know exactly where to begin. [03:21] DaemonFC You have just made that traffic stop so much more dangerous. [03:24] DaemonFC schestowitz: I talked to my Alderman the other night and one of the things I made fun of them for was this social worker thing with 911. [03:24] DaemonFC I said, "Yeah, tell me how that goes when some tiny little social worker gets beaten to a pulp by a meth addict that's built like a brick shithouse and the social worker lives off the city for the rest of their life." [03:26] DaemonFC Have you ever seen a social worker that looks like they could handle themselves while responding to a 911 call? [03:26] DaemonFC These people grab the cop's gun and shoot the cop with his own gun sometimes. [03:26] DaemonFC And they want to send social workers. [03:27] DaemonFC "But Reimers slowly realized it wasnt her imagination. An intruder had broken in. And calling the police for help wasnt an option. [03:29] DaemonFC John says that the police look at voting patterns in Seattle and only respond to neighborhoods that didn't vote for this defund the police crap. [03:29] DaemonFC So the crime moves over to where they know the police won't respond. [03:29] DaemonFC They cut the police budget in half. Send the cars where people didn't vote for that. [03:31] DaemonFC LOL, she gets on Twitter and livetweets the guy burglarizing her house. [03:32] DaemonFC Then makes a credible threat of violence against anyone who calls the police to help her. He was also on parole, so an arrest could have ruined his life." [03:34] DaemonFC Oh, on parole you say, and beating you. Got yourself a real winner, then? [03:34] DaemonFC :) [03:35] DaemonFC Is he going to go back to jail? Are they going to beat him up? Are they going to shoot him? Lewinski said of her thinking at the time. How is California going to stop people from buying guns out of a trunk from Georgia? [21:13] DaemonFC The only thing California is doing is getting in the way of legal purchases by people who aren't criminals. [21:13] DaemonFC There will still be plenty of AR-15s in Illinois. For starters, all the ones that were already here pre-ban can still be owned and sold to another FOID-card holder. [21:14] DaemonFC And people went on a buying spree before the law took effect knowing that the price would go up. [21:14] DaemonFC Plus, all the ones that will certainly be smuggled in and sold out of someone's trunk to gang members will still be out there. [21:15] DaemonFC "New York and California are considered national leaders in the report, holding some of the lowest gun death rates in the country 5.3 and 8.7, respectively, per 100,000 residents despite being home to the two largest US cities. Arkansas, which has roughly one-sixth of the New York state population, has a gun violence rate of 22.1 per 100,000 residents, the study shows." [21:15] DaemonFC Well, first, if you're going by gun deaths per 100,000 residents, there's no need to mention the State populations. [21:23] DaemonFC The US Senate isn't much of a check anymore on the President's ability to impose a lot of people who shouldn't even be a traffic court judge on us. [21:24] DaemonFC The Democrats are drawing from a pool of blue state "judges" that have finely honed skills on outright and open disdain of our Constitution. [21:25] DaemonFC Of which there are a great many. [21:25] DaemonFC Like the one in my county that tried to introduce "Sharia Divorce" into our system. [21:26] DaemonFC He said his "hands are tied" over some Indian Sharia Court for Muslims which stripped the wife of all of her rights to the marital assets. [21:26] DaemonFC His decision was so bad that the Appeals Court, which is another bunch of Democrats, said that they couldn't believe he had even reached that decision. [21:27] DaemonFC As they threw it out. [21:27] DaemonFC Muslims hate women. They don't even believe women should have a right to be educated. [21:27] DaemonFC If the husband beats and rapes the woman, Muslim law says flog the woman if she complains to anyone about it. Flogging if she is lucky. [21:28] DaemonFC Muslim law says some 70 year old pervert can "marry" his 9 year old victim. [21:28] DaemonFC And impregnate her as soon as it happens. [21:28] DaemonFC These people are beneath contempt. [21:29] DaemonFC If America stopped allowing these "shithole countries" to send us these people, we wouldn't have to panic and raise the legal age for marriage to 18. [21:29] DaemonFC The reason you could have a lower age for marriage previously is because if the guy was older it wasn't so much older that it was just gross. [21:30] DaemonFC It used to be that if there were safeguards in place, someone would be reasonable and veto it if it was some 70 year old Muslim pedo or something. [21:31] DaemonFC You know, because the parents and the judge had to okay it and she had to be at least 16. [21:31] DaemonFC But now that there are so many Muslim parents who don't see anything wrong with this, and might even be SELLING their daughter to her rapist, and so many Democrat judges, you can't trust that this process will be stopped if there's something deeply wrong happening. [21:32] DaemonFC It used to be if you married a minor it was probably because you were like a year or two ahead of them in high school or something. [21:32] DaemonFC My parents got married when my mom was 17. [21:33] DaemonFC My dad was 22. [21:33] DaemonFC I mean that's not a 70 year old and a 9 year old like the corrupt and disgusting Democrat judges and third world religions want to push on us today. [22:05] DaemonFC :) [22:06] MinceR but he's not Mr. Avocado either [22:06] MinceR therefore it's funny to him too! [22:13] DaemonFC Well, the State alleges that Mr. Avocado was trying to kill the police officer. [22:13] DaemonFC He didn't try to swerve or brake. He sped up. [22:13] DaemonFC So, Mr. Avocado is in quite a lot of trouble. [22:14] DaemonFC MinceR: This might be the only case where "I was so drunk (or high) that I had no idea what I was doing behind the wheel of that car." is a defense in court. [22:14] DaemonFC If indeed he was. [22:14] DaemonFC Because at least it would be reckless driving and DUI instead of attempted murder. [22:15] DaemonFC "Multiple police officers and firefighters smelled an extreme odor of alcohol coming from Garcia-Acevedo." [22:15] DaemonFC Yeah... [22:16] DaemonFC So the State says that he was extremely trashed. [22:16] DaemonFC I would probably lean into that if I was Mr. Avocado. [22:16] DaemonFC Drivers who are extremely trashed accelerate to nearly 100 miles an hour and hit all kinds of things. [22:17] DaemonFC Therefore, the State can't prove he intended to kill the police officer, specifically. [22:17] DaemonFC It's just what his car happened to run into. [22:18] DaemonFC "He also had a presence of cannabis in his body and told investigators he smoked the day before." [22:19] DaemonFC To "attempt" murder you have to have the presence of mind to attempt murder, he had the presence of mind of a man who was extremely drunk and stoned, at the same time, who should never have been behind the wheel, who did something while intoxicated that created an extreme danger, and collided with a police car. [22:20] DaemonFC But again, attempted murder means he must have decided and planned to try to kill that cop. And there's no evidence that he specifically did so or was in a state of mind to do so, given the presence of extreme amounts of mind altering substances in his system. [22:20] DaemonFC "Garcia-Acevedo admitted to speeding out of a parking lot at 80 mph in a 30 mph zone, Banks said. [22:20] DaemonFC He said he heard voices in his head and crossed into the oncoming lane to hit the squad car. [22:21] DaemonFC Garcia-Acevedo claimed he did not know he hit a police officer but said he does hate cops, Banks said." [22:21] DaemonFC ---- [22:21] DaemonFC See, that's going to be a problem. [22:21] DaemonFC The Prosecutor will say to the jury, "He said 'I HATE THE COPS!'". [22:21] DaemonFC So this shifts back from the big dumb guy that was trashed to intent. [22:26] MinceR good for the cops! [22:26] DaemonFC If he wiped it down and chucked it in a river he could have said "What gun? What model? Which serial number?" [22:27] DaemonFC He could have said it was an airsoft gun, which is not illegal. [22:27] DaemonFC The hotel people were so stupid they didn't know what an airsoft gun looks like. [22:30] DaemonFC MinceR: Ideally he would have just remembered "Oh, I have a gun. If I leave it here, they may panic and call the cops! Cops aren't good for me. Yeah, this isn't really where I want my Tuesday to go." [22:31] DaemonFC Frank Sloup (on YouTube), the Sheriff's Deputy with Fridays with Frank, even said it. [22:32] DaemonFC He said that the kind of people they catch like this, usually are driving while suspended, on a bad plate registration, and they blow past a traffic cop going 30 miles an hour over. [22:32] DaemonFC And then once they are looking around, they find all the shit you're not supposed to have in the car, in plain sight because of course that's where you put it. [22:33] DaemonFC I would never speed if doing so would mean I get pulled out of the car and arrested. [22:34] DaemonFC Don't take that to mean I don't speed, ever. [22:34] DaemonFC But if there's something in the car you're not supposed to have, don't speed. [22:34] DaemonFC Go 5 mph under the limit. They can't pull you over for this. And if it goes down, you're closer to the new speed limit even if you didn't notice that sign. [22:35] DaemonFC MinceR: And the fastest I ever go is below "excessive speeding". [22:35] DaemonFC Excessive speeding is where the cop has the discretion to pull you out and make an arrest, and it also has a mandatory court date. [22:36] DaemonFC If it's petty speeding, they not only can't arrest you, but the maximum punishment is you pay the ticket. [22:36] DaemonFC Going to court is optional (a good idea). [22:36] DaemonFC MinceR: I asked the cop what would happen if I refused to sign the ticket for the alleged "illegal turn". [22:37] DaemonFC He said, "I'll put "Refused" on the ticket." [22:37] DaemonFC I said, "Is your body camera recording this? [22:37] DaemonFC He says, "Yes." [22:37] DaemonFC So I looked at him again and said, "If I don't sign this, are you going to arrest me?" [22:37] DaemonFC He said, "No. I will write "Refused" and leave." [22:38] DaemonFC I said, "Okay, I refuse." [22:38] DaemonFC Then I beat the ticket. [22:38] DaemonFC Right in front of him. [22:38] DaemonFC :) [22:39] DaemonFC MinceR: I wanted him on camera saying that he would not arrest me before I told him whether I was going to sign the ticket or not. [22:40] DaemonFC I know refusal to sign a ticket gets you a serious "WTF" in court later. [22:40] DaemonFC But I also knew it wouldn't hold up. [22:41] DaemonFC Mostly, people that refuse to sign the ticket are belligerent assholes and sovereign citizens. [23:02] MinceR but yeah, the USA is thoroughly fucked [23:02] MinceR and so is the rest of this planet, pretty much [23:07] DaemonFC I think the US would have gotten more out of USMCA if the Democrats didn't have any hand in the negotiations. [23:07] DaemonFC They didn't want protections for American workers at all. [23:08] DaemonFC They just knew if they didn't change NAFTA to get the US out of these unconstitutional proceedings with Canada and Mexico, Trump was going to remove us from NAFTA and go back to the US-Canada Agreement and the tariffs with Mexico from the early 90s. [23:08] DaemonFC Those proceedings never benefited the United States. [23:08] DaemonFC Trudeau is abusing Legacy NAFTA one more time to punish us for canceling his tar sands oil pipeline. [23:09] DaemonFC But at least the bullshit ends there. [23:10] DaemonFC They've given up on Keystone XL. [23:10] DaemonFC Even if Trump re-authorized it, they wouldn't get it done in four years. [23:10] DaemonFC They already sold the pipeline segments as scrap metal. [23:10] MinceR like i (and others) said, the USA has 2 "right-wing" parties [23:13] DaemonFC MinceR: In a lot of ways, what Trump was doing was the right thing to do, but in many other ways, he scares the crap out of me. [23:14] MinceR lol [23:14] MinceR was stacking the SCOTUS with religious fundamentalists the right thing to do? [23:14] DaemonFC I wouldn't call the abortion decision religious fundamentalism. [23:14] DaemonFC It's one side of the "invade the United States with trash from Venezuela" coin. [23:15] DaemonFC "Force people here to carry more of the accidental pregnancies to term. [23:15] MinceR "republicans" wouldn't call it that, of course [23:15] DaemonFC More people desperate for jobs. Lid on wages. [23:15] DaemonFC Etc. [23:15] DaemonFC It's about big business. [23:15] MinceR actually there would be fewer desperate people if you let them abort unwanted pregnancies [23:15] DaemonFC The Republicans want to "solve" the problem with more forced births. [23:15] DaemonFC The Democrats want to "solve" the problem with illegal immigrants. [23:16] DaemonFC But it's the same coin. [23:16] MinceR the "republicans" claims of "this is not religious fundamentalism" would be more credible if they could resist referring to their religion in political matters for a while [23:16] MinceR but they can't. [23:16] DaemonFC I'm against both of those things. [23:16] MinceR because they're fucking insane. [23:16] DaemonFC Our population is too high. [23:16] DaemonFC It should not be raised. [23:16] MinceR and the "democrats" are only slightly less insane [23:17] DaemonFC Most forms of legal immigration don't bring random shit into our country and cause an explosion in the population of God only knows how many people in one year, most of them taking welfare. [23:17] DaemonFC So to conflate legal immigration with illegal is dishonest to an extreme. [23:18] MinceR 06 001548 <@DaemonFC> The Republicans want to "solve" the problem with more forced births. [23:18] MinceR 06 001557 <@DaemonFC> The Democrats want to "solve" the problem with illegal immigrants. [23:18] MinceR that "problem" doesn't exist [23:18] DaemonFC 27% of the "migrants" "seeking asylum" from Venezuela are carrying enough Fentanyl to kill a small town. [23:18] DaemonFC So they're not harmless. [23:18] MinceR and developed countries should be putting great effort into automatizing more work [23:19] DaemonFC It's good that Texas is catching them, throwing them in irons, and charging them with felonies. [23:19] DaemonFC Try getting that shit past US Immigration. [23:19] MinceR one would think that it should be easy to motivate people to do this among all the "AI" hype. [23:19] DaemonFC Now they can't do anything regardless of how criminal our President is. [23:19] MinceR s/among/amidst/ [23:20] DaemonFC The more people who are committing felonies, that Texas catches and gives a felony, and fingerprints while they're at it, the fewer people get TPS. [23:20] DaemonFC After they deliver the Fentanyl. [23:20] DaemonFC If Texas catches 100,000 people smuggling, then they don't get any Immigration benefit later because it's part of the law. [23:21] DaemonFC The fact that Biden is panicking and building Trump's border wall is priceless.
