[00:14]	IsambardPrince	These arms deals are directly funded by funneling Canada's sick and homeless and hungry into state suicide programs.

[00:16]	IsambardPrince	The tariffs that Trump has put into effect on Canada are proportional and directly aimed at places where they've been cheating us for years with no consequences.

[00:16]	IsambardPrince	It should have happened sooner. Too many US dairy farmers have gone out of business and many have had bankers show up who are now trained to spot suicide warning signs when they tell them they can't give them more loans or have to take the farm.
[00:17]	IsambardPrince	And it's because Canada has been dumping on us at below the cost of production to ruin our domestic industries, like China did with cheap televisions.
[00:17]	IsambardPrince	They put at least 8,000 Americans out of work, largely in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

[00:17]	IsambardPrince	He found other work, but many of them never found a job that good again.

[00:24]	IsambardPrince	The WTO part says that the tariffs can be up to the amount to correct the portion where the foreign nation is "dumping".
[00:24]	IsambardPrince	Dumping is when they sell at a loss to ruin your domestic industry.
[00:25]	IsambardPrince	It doesn't mean they can't sell cheaper than your domestic industry. It means that they can't sell at less than what it costs to produce it in their economy and get it shipped into yours.
[00:28]	IsambardPrince	So the question isn't whether Trump's tariffs against Canada are right, as much as "are they proportional" considering domestic law and the WTO treaties.
