[21:52] IsambardPrince THey said use it every 3,000 miles if you want, but they said it's just a quicker way to clean up a dirty engine than their Restore and Protect motor oil, which does it over 4 oil changes and 20,000 miles. [21:52] IsambardPrince They said that if you use it once then it'll do almost that level of cleaning in 10 minutes at idle, then you just drain out the dirty oil and do a normal oil change. [21:53] IsambardPrince MinceR, The detergent/dispersant package in normal motor oil will clean out sludge slowly if they use a lot of it. [21:53] IsambardPrince But at the levels in the detergent-based flush products, you don't want to just drive around like that. [21:54] IsambardPrince When I switched to a very high detergent synthetic years ago in this car, it would look dirty pretty fast, but now it still looks pretty clean even with over 1,000 miles on it.
