[01:23]	IsambardPrince	The Immigration and Nationality Act has had a requirement for decades, in law, that says all "Aliens" (Non-Citizens, but a word for it from the witch hunt era that Republicans have taken to using again, part of a dehumanization campaign.) must "register", but there's never been any way to comply if you entered without being "inspected", AKA people who crossed a border without authorization and disappeared somewhere into the country.

Comply and they'll know where to come zip tie you and throw you in the back of a van, don't comply and if they find you, they can pursue a misdemeanor charge that will brand you a criminal, THEN take you to an immigration judge and say you're a criminal because you did not register.
[01:23]	IsambardPrince	The page and regulation lay out who is already considered registered and do not need to register again. It says people who were issued an EAD are among the ones who do not register. DACA recipients get an EAD I think.
[01:23]	IsambardPrince	The only DACA recipient I even know about is the person an ex is with now.
[01:23]	IsambardPrince	Anyway, even though you're not required to register with the form G-325R, it says if someone registers and was not required to, then USCIS will process it and then issue a form stating "You are not required to register because..." whatever, in this case, you have DACA so they already know about you, and apparently that's all that would happen in that case.
[01:23]	IsambardPrince	My observation was that if millions of people on DACA all did this and told the government information the government already knew (because DACA), it would require USCIS to have officers going through millions of forms, one at a time, that costs nothing to file, just to issue a document stating that you do not need to file.

Information that's useless to them, information that they already have, that they collected no money for processing, that costs them money to process, and time, information they can't act on other than to send you a form saying "We didn't need this.", so they can't do much else with that time and money, and the whole thing gets bogged down, causing them to be less efficient at processing anyone they

They have developed and sold SPARC-based servers for several decades now, but they are reportedly getting out of SPARC in 5 or so years in favor of ARM-based hardware. SPARC is now considered to be fully open, non-proprietary and royalty free. The issue now is not monetizing SPARC but rather keeping the architecture
