[05:02]	Isambard_Prince	Even Fedora doesn't move fast enough. It does the opposite of what I want it to.
[05:02]	Isambard_Prince	The base system is sort of a crappy semi-rolling release. It creates stability issues lower in the stack where they ought not be and where the user frankly shouldn't really have to give a damn.
[05:03]	Isambard_Prince	But it freezes the desktop environment more or less, some other things.
[05:03]	Isambard_Prince	I shouldn't have to worry about a C library changing and having bugs and causing everything else to crash in the middle of a versioned release.
[05:04]	Isambard_Prince	Those packages are central to the OS and changes can be very damaging. And the user doesn't care because they don't care if there's a new feature in the C library.
