[23:00]	DaemonFC	I didn't have much choice. I started getting "LOW OIL PRESSURE" on start on cold mornings and the flush ended up cleaning a fair bit of sludge out of the system.
[23:00]	DaemonFC	Warning hasn't come back since then so I think I got lucky.
[23:00]	DaemonFC	Oil pumps on that car are expensive just for the part, nevermind paying someone to replace one.
[23:01]	DaemonFC	I think "Diane" just let it sit and sit and some old motor oil left some crud here and there. There was also a carbon problem in the fuel injectors.
[23:01]	DaemonFC	I kept running GM injector cleaner in it until the problems went away.
[23:02]	DaemonFC	If you let a car sit and don't change the oil out "because I'm not driving it", it still goes bad in there.
[23:02]	DaemonFC	Once you crack the seal on a bottle of oil, you have about a year to use that bottle up, even if it's never been in the engine.

[23:04]	DaemonFC	They also do a full inspection of your car to tell you what's going on with it and what needs to be fixed soon.

[23:04]	DaemonFC	It leads to extra work for the shop that they're more likely to get since you're at their shop anyway.
