Windows in South Korea: From 98.5% in 2010 to About 30% (Android Rises to Almost 50%)
SEVERAL years ago Korea said it would move to GNU/Linux, at least in government. They had already made some distros of their own. Samsung ships like a million Linux devices per day.
Looking at Windows' monopoly, it's not what it used to be anymore:
When it comes to search engines, Naver nearly caught up with Google (last month) and Bing fell to 2%, i.e. significantly lower than before the chatbot hype or same as Europe and elsewhere.
Naver has pulled ahead of Google this month. It's local, like Yandex in Russia. Yandex usage has soared in Russia. █
