THIS month's (or this past year's) data from statCounter is interesting because it shows steady curves extrapolated from a population of ~57,000. Notice how GNU/Linux approaches 20%. With Android taken into account, Android is bigger than Windows.

The sharp increases for GNU/Linux started last summer. █
