Why There Has Been a Campaign of Defamation Against Richard Stallman (RMS), Professor Moglen, Linus Torvalds, Theodore Ts'o, Bruce Perens and Many Others

Traffic Light

The theory goes, as we noted here months ago, the serial defamers hope to "red-light" them or obstruct them from being listened to at the higher echelons (e.g. Congress), based on perceived "social" issues

WE are blessed to have become exceedingly productive lately. There's a lot going on behind the scenes, not only in this Web site.

The issues we deal with are very important - very relevant to billions of people - and interested people can make a whole book, a very thick and lengthy book, about "The Jihad Against Linux" (remember that Bill Gates refers to his attacks on Linux as "Jihad", based on internal communications).

Covering the defamation of Dr. Stallman (RMS), of Professor Moglen, of Linus Torvalds, of Theodore Ts'o, of Bruce Perens (and many others who have repeatedly been subjected to Ritual Defamation) is doable. Any eager writers could assembled a lot of material and then release a lot of information. There's no lack of material to cover when one engages so much in this topic and Microsoft pushes TPMs into platforms that are inherently against it.

As one associate has put it: "The action against TPM and restricted boot has to come at the OEM level Individual boycotts are bound to be ineffective at this late stage. The hard to achieve approach would be to get it into the political debate, somewhat akin to how the 'Right To Repair' activity is going. That would require Moglen, Perens, RMS to speak with the US Congress."

"This explains the great effort being expended by Microsofters to silence all of them. They will use connections in low places as necessary, such as how Oregon was blocked from even discussing Open Source Software in session. Remember that one?"

Luminaries in the world of GNU/Linux needs their voice. They must also be defended from ritual defamation.
