A Shift to the Centre-Left in the United Kingdom
We are not a political site, except when the politics is connected to tech or tech policy. It's too early to say what the landslide victory will mean for Labour and for the country, but the hostile patron Bill Gates has just lost a public servant of his.
To be clear, we don't endorse political parties. All we can say is, with over 400 seats (projected) the Labour Party is going to determine/cement a lot of public policy in the UK, possibly for half a decade if not more than a decade to come.
On a more personal note, after voting (yesterday around noon) my wife and I went around town, went to museums, spent a lot of time outdoors (some sun, some rain), so not much material was published here yesterday. Today will be busier. This summer will, in general, be hyper-productive. General Elections don't happen every day or even every year. █
