Released about a day ago: John Shipton delivers triumphant speech at Julian Assange's birthday

Mr. Shipton speaks of several Australian journalists, including the late John Pilger (died not long ago, Web site vacant now), and their contributions. He focuses on war journalism. The audience was at St Kilda Bowls Club in Melbourne.

We assume someone who was at the event uploaded the recording of this speech (Julian Assange was not there).

Journalism is still at risk. The US has just criminalised retrieving evidence of war crimes. █
