Torvalds (the Son) Isn't a Freedom Fighter, But He Deals With Politics
MONTHS ago we shared an interview where Linus Torvalds (not his father, shown above) explained why he shied away from politics. To this very moment, he insists he does not care about politics (his father is still deeply involved in politics by the way) even when he clearly deals with politics, such as Rust politics.
Depending on how Torvalds (the son) defines "politics", he actually deals with politics all the time. Maybe he just doesn't want to acknowledge this. Maybe he still believes that if he tries to ignore politics, then he won't become a target. That's a misguided belief. █
