Microsoft-Connected Publishers Want Us to Think That Linux is Some Sort of a Virus and a "Backdoor"

With at least a short rebuttal duly needed to the latest nonsense (no direct link; that's deliberate) and a reader noting that "BleepingComputer is always a shill for Microsoft", let's take a look at a screenshot. There are almost a dozen pieces like it right now.
This promotes two false stigmas:
- Linux has back doors (it's actually Windows that has them)
- Linux endangers the safety of Windows users
"The problem is with windows and the attack vector is via Windows," the reader said.
That's correct. This page (to be updated later) has some annotation in it, in the form of editorial comments.
If Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt (FUD) tactics and fear-mongering/dramatisation can determine election outcomes (FUD is spread fastest in social control media), it can also affect people's choice of operating systems and/or purchases. █
