The Free Software Foundation (FSF) Has Raised More Than Three Times More Money Than the Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC), Which Mostly Gets Money From Corporations, Including Microsoft

JUDGING by what's happening so far this month, the FSF raises about 10,000 dollars in donations per day (its now close to $110,000 in total). Given that about 100,000,000 people use GNU on their desktops/laptops, we're talking about something like a tenth of a cent per user.
SFC, which attacks the FSF while imitating SFLC, has only raised about 33k so far. The SFC has been better than the FSF at raising corporate cash (because it pretends to be "social justice" while trampling over women). But non-corporate actors, i.e. people, aren't fooled by them anymore.
It should be noted that serial defamers from Microsoft - or Microsofters in general - have done everything they can lately to discourage FSF donations. If Microsofters are so afraid of a well-funded FSF, take that as a sign of the FSF's effectiveness.
Do not donate any money to copycat organisations. It's worse than money down the river because your money might get spent attacking and even defaming the originals. █
