Syria: Microsoft Windows Down to 8% "Market Share" (It Was 99% Just 15 Years Ago)
In Syria (or Syrian Arab Republic), GNU/Linux rose to 5% this month, whereas Windows falls to 8% if one counts Android (it was even measured at less than 5% earlier this year).
Syria may see its regime changed soon (the head of state fled to Russia). Either way, it killed Bassel Khartabil, who was an important digital activist. █
