Expose Corrupt Insurance Companies, Don't Kill People
Murder gives them sympathy, makes the raiders seem like the victims. The man on the left isn't a folk hero.
SOME years ago Daniel Pocock got scammed and saddled with fake insurance. Don't make fun of him; tens of thousands of other people and businesses (in France/Switzerland area) had fallen for the same scam and the number of victims can sometimes be mistaken for legitimacy of the scam (something along the lines of, "if it was a scam, how would they exist?" or "if it's not real, why do they have so many customers?")
Size isn't everything. Sometimes the larger companies have many more lobbyists, so it's easier for them to get away with crime and/or delay/obstruct efforts to investigate.
My colleagues and I also got scammed with a fake pension, albeit the crime was committed by the company (our own employer at the time), riding the reputation of 'Standard Life' (a large British company).
Recently, when dealing with a home insurance provider [1, 2], I quickly came to realise what an awful company it really was. As soon as I cancelled I got more letters from them (in a few days) than I had gotten from them in 10 years combined.
Many insurance companies don't "Waste paper" on you until "You cancel" in order to "Lower expenses" (e.g. "Won't contact client" until "Money is at risk"). So insurance companies are bad and the people who run them are sometimes unworthy of any job. Some are appointed as a reward for lacking empathy and repeatedly demonstrating this lack of empathy.
Killing them isn't a solution; boycotts can work well.
If your insurance provider sucks, quit it. Find an alternative. It takes some work, sure, but we must make bad providers fail.
Do not kill people. The assailant above managed to defeat the mass surveillance (proven toothless again), but this will probably result in even more surveillance, and not only in New York. So we all stand to suffer from what he did. █
