Bad Year for Microsoft in India (and Another All-Time Low, Windows at 12% "Market Share")
Microsoft has fallen to obscurity in Web servers (about 2% of that market left; it's about 0.2% in mail (MX) servers this month), in mobile it's about 0% (almost nobody can still be spotted using Windows Mobile), in large supercomputers it has been 0% for many years already, and in desktops/laptops it barely hangs on to half the market. With mobiles added, Windows is barely a quarter of the market (in some countries Windows is at under 1%), so what about the world's largest population? This is the hallmark of a languishing company that wants its shareholders to believe adding a key to some keyboard (with the label "copilot") means salvation. Ask Intel how that worked out...
Microsoft is the next Intel. Bloated spaghetti code and binary garbage with back doors do not sell well. They stagnate. █
