Apple's Main Stronghold (North America) at Risk From GNU/Linux

GNU/Linux has had a good year in North America, not just in South America. Its market share as measured by statCounter grew and Apple lost share as the US economy sagged (US national debt rose 1.9 trillion dollars in just 11 months). Android is up, iOS is not. Apple had several rounds of layoffs in the US this year. In the world's second-largest economy Apple has collapsed. █
