Sitting on a Mountain of Money (Almost 8 Million Dollars) is "Pro Bono"
"Pro bono" is how Sandler described her work for Free software. She's now heading the self-described "Software Freedom Conservancy" (SFC), which is basically a fake version of SFLC (notice similarity in acronyms; it is 100% intentional and there's a lawsuit over it*). Taking home 20,000 dollars a month and amassing this much money isn't possible with "pro bono" work:
That's from 2023. It might be at $8 million by now.
So a pair of people drown in money (in the bank) and still call for donations as if they're on shoestring budget. Incredible!!
This is what people blasted Mozilla's CEO for. Critics were falsely painted as "sexist" for pointing out the obvious.
HAD the FSF been greedy and money-grabbing like the SFC, the money raised this winter wouldn't be enough to cover even 2 salaries at the SFC. Yes, the wages ballooned, "DEI" staff got removed, and focus shifted to attacking other organisations, notably the FSF and SFLC [1, 2] while recruiting/enlisting Microsofters.
Does the general public realise what SFC is? It's an ally of the Microsoft-funded FSF-EEE. They attack the same groups together, looking to replace, dismantle and capture their funds. They're a pair of crabs and village torchers. They hid behind a very thin veil of "tolerance" to demonise those whom they were attacking. It's a short-sighted strategy and it's backfiring. █
