Yesterday: Microsoft Starts 2025 Like 2024: Mass Layoffs Every Month!

Hours ago: Microsoft: Over 2,200 (1%) staff to be laid off shortly ("soon")

Last year: This Month is the 11th Month of This Year With Mass Layoffs at Microsoft (So Far It's Happening Every Month This Year, More Announced Hours Ago)

WITH several executives leaving (not retiring) so far this year is seems safe to guess they know something about Microsoft that the shareholders of Microsoft do not. Microsoft is clearly having issues and it must reduce costs. Having run out of things to cut (it already removed or withdrew many perks for staff), it's now cutting its own workforce. Expect a lot more of this throughout the year.

Microsoft is the first of GAFAM to announce layoffs in 2025. █
