[Meme] Omit Microsoft When It's a Scandal or a Breach, Whereupon It Becomes Just an 'IT Company'
IN THE Linux Foundation, which devotes less money to Linux than it receives in bribes from Microsoft*, the people who speak 'for' security are often Microsoft employees (we've given loads of examples of this!). They bought their way; they now 'speak for' the competition**. They act like they "own" Linux and the community is just unruly people who should be ignored or even banished. They drew this conclusion that community means "bad", based on people who are themselves very bad (the accusers).
Likewise, Microsoft-sponsored publishers apparently do not want to point the finger at Microsoft when there are massive security breaches. They'd rather give the megaphone to Microsoft staff that shifts the dialogue to "Xz" only a few days before the US Government's rebuke and protest against Microsoft (after it had exposed highly sensitive data both to China and to Russia).
Let's blame everything and everyone but Microsoft. Better yet, let's encourage fake "news" sites (LLM slop) to publish many articles about some imaginary "Linux" security disasters.
Microsoft is like a cult. Members of this cult promote the opposite of security, expecting to be financially rewarded for it. █
______
* They don't call it "bribes" and they even break their own rules by allowing Microsoft to buy more board seats than any single company is allowed. Microsoft basically corrupted them both at the 'constitutional' and institutional level. Linus Torvalds is overstaying at a rogue institution (mis)named after the Linux Mark.
** They bring forth a false diagnosis, false solution, dogma, and stigma. They try to stereotype C, Linux, the GPL (code being free) etc. as the real issues, save NSA back doors.
