THIS new article entitled "Workers at NASA Told to Drop Everything to Scrub Mentions of Indigenous People, Women from Its Websites" says "Accessibility" is no longer a thing.
"Note the last line item, accessibility," a reader said. "That is more than just about civil rights. Coding or designing to accessibility standards helps avoid vendor lock-in."
So what next? Webapps (JavaScript, WASMs etc.) or even worse? Will employees with a disability be left behind, even literally?
The article is behind a paywall (must subscribe), but perhaps time will tell what's happening.
