Things seem to be getting worse.

We named some culprits earlier this month: Anti-Linux FUD Sites cybersecuritynews.com and gbhackers.com Turn Out to be LLM Slop, Even Plagiarism That Spreads Lies

They're still at it: (Google News also lists these as top results)

Get well soon, World Wide Web. Remember that Google News laid off lots of its workers. If Google News is understaffed and a result it gives rise to plagiarism (LLM slop), fewer people will still bother with Google News. █
