In Gopher and Gemini Protocol People Abandon Services Based in the United States
THOSE who pay close enough attention to our Daily Links for Gemini Protocol (and also Gopher, which is similar and sometimes overlapping) probably noticed rants like this. Today there's more on that (a few hours ago).
They basically come to the realisation that US Internet servers (e.g. GAFAM) are not only controlled by a US government that they revile; GAFAM actively sponsors and helps this government [1, 2]. There's no resistance whatsoever! Even Apple, which many associate with homosexuality (because of the CEO and many customers), is very much complicit.
If you're not a US citizen, then you're not eligible to vote in the US. You can, however, vote with your wallet. █
