Instead of 'DoS Protection' Cloudflare is Allegedly Conducting 'DoS Attacks' on Users of Browsers Other Than Firefox and GAFAM's DRM Sandboxes (Chrome, Safari and Others)
This is work in progress which merits further investigation. I'd ask Cloudflare for comment, but knowing Cloudflare, they do not speak to critics. Almost a decade ago, just because I occasionally criticised Cloudflare, using polite words and not personal attacks, it seemed like all Cloudflare staff was made to block me in Twitter (no other company ever did this, only Cloudflare!).
Cloudflare is "protecting" its staff from facts.
What do Web users say Cloudflare does to them now?
Driving their machines out of RAM, crashing the operating system if not 'just' the application [1, 2]
Other people report similar experiences:
"People later in the thread are saying it doesn't always happen," we're told, "indicating Cloudflare might be using multiple browser fingerprinting techniques at random" (serving malicious versions to some or only sometimes).
Cloudflare generally destroys Web sites in the name of 'protecting' them.
If you value the Web, you will avoid Cloudflare. Don't go there. Don't outsource your site/s to Cloudflare. █
