New Series: A Deep Dive Into the Severe Corruption of the Open Source Initiative (OSI), Nowadays a Front Group and Lobbyist of Microsoft
THE Open Source Initiative (OSI) seems to be crumbling and its blog has been eerily silent lately. Even the Microsoft operative inside the Open Source Initiative (OSI) Blog has said not a word since January. He used to spew out promotional Microsoft nonsense several times per week.
So what's going on?
We've been receiving some damning facts. Insiders are fed up. They see how rotten OSI really is; So did Bruce Schneier and Bruce Perens, the cofounder of the OSI.
Also see recent posts about one of many internal scandals [1, 2], which some time later the British media wrote about in "Open Source Initiative closes down board candidate" and to quote:
"The OSI's contact address is in California, so it seems arbitrary and capricious to retroactively define all of these processes as being governed by UTC," observed Faraone, who urged the OSI to reconsider.
Those who think that was bad, well... just wait. There's lots more in there. Stay tuned as we'll start the series today or tomorrow. There's a lot to show. █
