Facebook REALLY, REALLY, R E A L L Y Does Not Want You to Read This Book
DO NOT - WE REPEAT - DO NOT ORDER OR READ THIS BOOK!!
THE "Careless People" book is still available from stores worldwide, but we strongly encourage people NOT TO READ IT!
It would be a CRIME to read it.
"I just noticed headlines about "judgment" issued regarding the author of the Careless People book," a reader has told us. "This book is shedding some light on Meta's malicious behavior, and the decision was recently made against the author to prevent advertising and, as far as I can understand, publicizing."
Meta is a lovely company. Most people know it as "Facebook" (same thing). Why would anyone out there not love this company? Why read this "trash" about Meta?
"I'm pondering how these corporates can be that stupid," the reader said, "to willingly amplify publicity for that book. I'm thinking maybe I get the picture wrong and this is an actually effective measure against Meta's target audience, but those people I presume usually don't care by default, so it looks like just another instance of braindead corporate censorship."
Oh, censorship?
How about free advertising?
"I don't know much about the actual book yet," the reader said, "but I guess that situation can be relatively easy to resolve if the author publishes the book on a website for anyone to freely download and read and accepts donations from readers and others who want to support per."
"I think that Techrights can do its part to amplify the Streisand effect in this case," said the reader.
No, we will NOT be doing that.
That would be a CRIME.
Do not order or read that book.
"If this case already took your attention," the reader said, "I apologize for the redundant message, although I think that in such cases redundancy is a good thing to make sure some posts-inspiring events won't be missed out on. :)"
The author of the book is a very naughty person, as clarified in all this 'negative' press about her:
- Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams review – Zuckerberg and me
- Publisher stands behind ex-Facebook employee's book, rebuffing Meta
- Careless People: A Story of Where I Used to Work by Sarah Wynn-Williams review – a former disciple unfriends Facebook
- Meta is trying to silence a former executive. In an interview, she tells BI why.
Do not click on the above links. It would be very wrong and immoral. Agent Kapo-berg would lower your "social score" for following the "bad" links. █
