Microsoft's Serial Strangler's Law Firm Has a Long History of Fronting for People Who Do Bad and/or Illegal Things

Pay me for for mentioning what I did

2023: Harassment Against Techrights (and Our Family Members) Proportional to the Site's Positive Impact | 2025: When the Business Goal is to Protect the Image of Criminals From the Mainstream Media or Free/Independent Press (at Any Cost)

WE have been suffering but enduring endless abuse since 2022 when my employer got contacted and my wife's employer too was contacted (the militants who did this admitted the phonecalls had been made; the company is a zombie now). Only months later the abuse against my family (and yours truly) intensified further. They clearly tried to sabotage people by doing patently illegal things. At one point I started reporting what they did to the police, as I had long been advised to do (and it was well overdue).

Last year the Microsofters paid serial SLAPPer Brett Wilson LLP more money than it has in the bank because it has evident money problems (debt) and, to quote what a law firm in Manchester told us a year ago, it would basically take on anything - any lousy "case" with no prospects of winning - as long as it gets paid. When Novell's last CEO was upset about our coverage at least his lawyers were honest with him; all they could feasibly do was send a polite message to me (a request without threats).

the child of 9, pt.7

Brett Wilson LLP is... different.

We published many articles yesterday, some of them quite long, so unlike many sites out there we're actually quite productive and we have original sources, such as whistleblowers. That's what we'd rather focus on.

But they want to disrupt that.

We keep receiving very spurious letters from the Microsofters' law firm, trying to irritate and vex us (we'll show examples in the future; they've repeatedly refused to deny the connection or comment on the source of funding). It made a "reputation" for itself not as a decent firm but as one that's covering up actual crimes and, as before (to quote last week's article), "trying to misuse "copyrights" to keep secret the threats that they were sending to people, even people who merely reported crime."

This modus operandi is familiar to many:

22nd June 2018, Law firm, Brett Wilson LLP representing Qatar Airways, Head of Communication and Head of Al Khor International School, defended Qatar Airways of any gross negligence and lack of due diligence, but did not name Qatar Airways as a client WHY?

Contacted Brett Wilson LLP, advised that I had received legal letter and was currently away on my return I will be in touch

To quote: "22nd June 2018, Brett Wilson LLP, legal letter, using coercion and intimidation so I would take down website, Brett Wilson LLP claimed the online harassment and smear campaign would not damaged or ruin my reputation and business and that I was harassing their clients by publishing a website that exposed the truth and Head of Communications and her husbands wrongdoing. Husband is the Head of AKIS, Al Khor International School is a 4000 student school based in Doha, Qatar and owned by QatarGas.and partnered with Cambridge University."

Notice what they did to this man. Incredible!

That's one example. One of many. These greedy people have no shame, they go after good people to protect rich and corrupt people. In the future we'll pursue reform and contact regulators, MPs etc. (we have the necessary connections)

Thankfully many people have learned about what's going on 'behind the scenes' (there are limits to what we can say at this stage) and some contact us about it. "Thanks," one reader said, but "I can’t tell from your website what this is about" (we haven't made an index of events, so sometimes things are a bit 'out of nowhere'... lacking some necessary background).

Brett Wilson LLP failed to make headway in a lousy case, I've explained, after spending nearly a year getting nowhere, so they started another case for another person (affiliated with the same company as the first) - a person who strangled women and got arrested for it (apparently I'm not allowed to mention this because it hurts his feelings). Making threats to keep the first threats (or earlier threats) hidden is, as rightly pointed out, the characteristic of SLAPP. That should not be done. SLAPP-chaining in my case attracted the attention of several NGOs and prominent law firms.

We continue to receive sympathetic messages from people wishing to help, including NGOs; we have no doubt justice will be served at the end, it is just a matter of time and cost. A Western and civilised society won't allow violent men beg courts, beg reporters, and get their way despite being in a foreign country where suing them for libel isn't feasible as a libel ruling in the UK would not be enforceable in the US [1, 2].

The harder they push and attack my family (even women), the more embarrassing this will become to them. They're shooting their own foot. Whose terrible idea was this?
