StatCounter: Microsoft is Masking a Disaster, It's Way Behind DeepSeek Already and Interest in LLMs Has Waned
StatCounter (or statCounter) began tracking LLM usage a few days ago and it doesn't look good for Microsoft. Take the following two months on record (there are no more, not yet anyway):
Microsoft isn't growing, whereas China's DeepSeek already grew to three times what Microsoft has. As for "Open" "AI", whose CEO was hired by Microsoft last year, Microsoft already admits lessened demand. It's likely (for the most part) a passing fad or hype or some "yet another" bubble. statCounter is late to the party that's almost over already.
Those who believe the lie that "Open" "AI" is somehow "worth" 300 billion dollars might need to examine the simple fact this company never made money, has no actual business plan for making money, and is already deep in debt. It only projects more and more debt, hoping for a bailout (money from taxpayers).
As just noted in Daily Links, it turns out the money "raised" for "Open" "AI" may not even exist at all. How familiar a story or scam from Scam Altman, the "7 Trillion Dollars" man. █
