just ranting
The blank dark screen isn't as scary as the blank white screen
Maybe all these authors needed was dark theme all along
Anyways, I'm way past the point where writing is beneficial again
And again don't have much to say. I mean I have everything to say so I have nothing to say.
It's like those definitions that match everything and are meaningless for it. It just can't be used to take decisions.

political reporting, business, LEOPARDS
Dear New York Times: if you're wondering why I canceled my subscription, it's because you were charging me $20 a month for something worse than what Techdirt gives me for free.

I'm semi-reviving my professional website. Which is to say that I moved my professional site URL to a Neocities site (I am not taking it back to Wordpress), which I am re-populating with some of my less-bad work examples.
I don't want to. It feels like selling out again. But I don't have to go back to social media; I just need a place to send potential clients that doesn't look like I wrote it in Notepad from my bathtub. I DID write it in Notepad from my bathtub, but I don't want it to LOOK like I did.

Tinylog todo list - brain dump
Since my return to the gemini space, one thing that I didn’t yet update is my tinylog. That is due to the fact I want to put more thoughts about its “future”. The future of Tinylogs, GTL, the workflow I want for my micro blogging (in general) and how I could help make tinylogs easier for others too. This short article is just a brain dump of things in my mind that will come more or less quickly.
If you don’t know what tinylogs are, you can read more about it on the Tinylog RFC page, or in a Gemlog Entry I posted. And if you want to start reading others tinylogs, look into my GTL CLI/TUI client or go the aggregator capsule.

Re: Tinylog todo list - brain dump
I just enjoyed bacardi55's' "Tinylog todo list - brain dump". And I have to say that it's good to have him back into Gemini space. I really missed him and his innovations for the Gemini protocol.

hush on inter-community protocols
Interesting thoughts about an inter-community protocol. Coming from fediverse admin and moderation, I she's on the spot regarding the curating vs. automation. but it's either this or that, isn't it? The curating takes volunteer effort which is...not really paid for. And there's not much control on it by the average user except for opting to leave the instance and maybe cut funding, but that is a weak power. if the users could act from the bottom upwards by voting on curating actions by their admin ot would be a start. Then again, should this be a protocol thing or just up to the implementation?
